Job summary

MASO Recruit is seeking a Personal Support Aide for home care in Brampton, Ontario. The role offers $17.50 CAD per hour with 30–40 hours per week and full-time terms. Start date as soon as possible.

Responsibilities include assisting with bedside and personal care, medications, meals, light housekeeping, companionship, and safety support to clients in their homes. Two references and CPSW training preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of college-level certificate or diploma (3 months to <1 year).
• Experience caring for clients: 1 year to <2 years.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications.
• Assist clients in water (i.e. pool).
• Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
• Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk.
• Assume full responsibility for household (in absence of householder).
• Demonstrate infant care to new parents.
• Feed or assist in feeding.
• Launder clothing and household linens.
• Mend clothing and linens.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Plan therapeutic diets and menus.
• Provide companionship.
• Shop for food and household supplies.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
