Personal Lines Insurance Broker

Location: Barrie - Hybrid (2 days per week in office)

Job Type: Full-Time

Are you a service-driven insurance professional who thrives on helping clients feel confident and protected? We’re looking for a Personal Lines Insurance Broker to join our team, someone who combines strong technical knowledge with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.

In this role you’ll work on an assigned book of business with the support of a collaborative team committed to doing what’s best for our clients. We understand the importance of flexibility—you can choose to work in a hybrid model or fully in‑office depending on what suits you best.

What You’ll Do
  • Service maintain and help grow an assigned personal lines book of business.
  • Manage all aspects of the customer life cycle from quotes and renewals to endorsements, remarkets, and cancellations.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of risk and underwriting information to ensure accuracy and provide the best possible insurance solutions for your clients.
  • Act as a trusted advisor helping clients understand their coverage and ensuring they have the right protection for their unique needs.
  • Take and process new claim reports, providing empathetic support to clients and coordinating with insurance carriers.
  • Diligently follow up on outstanding items to ensure all client needs are met in a timely manner.
  • Serve as a key liaison between clients and insurers, advocating for your clients and supporting our customer‑first culture.
  • Have the opportunity to earn additional commission for any new business you bring in.
What You Bring
  • RIBO License (mandatory).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a broker role with a focus on Personal Lines.
  • Proven success managing and servicing an assigned book of business.
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • High level of professionalism and the ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Working knowledge of TAM or EPIC (an asset).
  • A proactive mindset and genuine enthusiasm for helping clients protect what matters most.
