Job summary

Desjardins is seeking Personal Finance Advisors for the South Shore of Montreal region. You will support members with financing, savings and insurance needs, providing thoughtful advice aligned with their life goals.

You will build relationships, assess service quality, and help clients define clear financial targets while staying informed on market trends and developments in the banking sector. Telework and office options may be available depending on eligibility.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services or customer-facing roles preferred.
• Knowledge of savings, credit and insurance products.
• Ability to translate financial options into clear advice.

Responsibilities

• Meet savings and credit needs of members, including mortgages.
• Manage business relationships, assess satisfaction and service quality, and identify improvement areas.

Required

As a personal finance advisor, you play a key role in supporting our members and clients with their financing, savings and insurance needs. You’re the person they trust, who understands their goals, offers good advice and guides them toward financial solutions that are right for them. More specifically, you will be required to:

• Meet the savings and credit needs of members, including mortgages.
• Manage business relationships, assess satisfaction and service quality, follow up on these relationships and identify areas for improvement.
• Advise our members and clients on personalized strategies and work with them to set well-defined and measurable financial goals.
• Stay on top of the latest financial news and track market trends and best practices to enrich your advice and anticipate your clients’ needs.
• Proudly represent our financial institution to our partners and the public by participating in community activities.
