Job summary

Desjardins is seeking a Personal Finance Advisor in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Canada. You will develop lasting relationships with members and clients, listen to their needs, offer tailored financial advice, and help choose suitable solutions to meet goals.

Your role balances client satisfaction with business objectives and prudent risk management. You will work with partners to design integrated strategies for individuals and businesses, driving results while maintaining trust and service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered.
• Mutual fund representative certificate - Autorité des marchés financiers.
• Knowledge of French is required.

Your role is to listen to members' and clients' needs, offer them advice that fits their financial situation and help them choose appropriate solutions to meet their financial goals. You work closely with a client base consisting mainly of individual members and businesses. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential. You drive results by recommending investments, loans and insurance products. You use your expertise to balance member/client satisfaction, business objectives, profitability and sound and prudent risk management.
