Job summary

TD Canada Trust is recruiting a Personal Banking Associate for our Edmonton branch to guide customers’ financial needs, facilitate new accounts, and connect clients with the right specialists. You will promote TD products, educate customers on digital banking, and support frontline colleagues in serving clients with excellence.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ years of experience, and strong communication.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma and/or 1+ years of relevant experience.
  • IFC or equivalent – within 90 days of start date.
  • Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree in related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook), branch software and internet.
  • Knowledge of banking solutions and processes to advise customers.
  • A self-starter who works independently in a dynamic work environment with strong administration, organizational, planning and time management skills.
  • A dynamic, diligent influencer with a can-do attitude to handle several tasks and changing priorities.
  • A strong communicator with established customer experience skills who can connect with customers and teams.

Responsibilities

  • Engage customers in day-to-day advice needs, service transactions, digital education, and problem resolution related to banking solutions.
  • Guide customers to the right contact person for appropriate solutions while handling confidential matters.
  • Educate customers on mobile, ATM, and online banking to build confidence in digital banking trends.
  • Support frontline staff with scheduled cash and non-cash transactions and report non-standard matters to management.
  • Suggest improvements to work practices, branch operations, and processes to enhance customer experience.
  • Ensure documentation is accurate and aligned with regulations and TD's Code of Conduct.
