Job summary

The Durham District School Board (DDSB) is seeking a Permanent Teacher for a 0.2 FTE assignment focused on Primary and Junior coverage. You will create an engaging classroom, deliver curriculum-aligned lessons, assess progress, and collaborate with families and colleagues to support student success.

Qualified candidates hold OCT in good standing and have QECO rating considerations for salary placement. External hires may require up to 10 days processing before start date.

Job description

• Grade(s)/assignment: Primary and Junior Coverage
• Ontario teaching certificate (OCT) in good standing
• Elementary Permanent Salary Range: $53,352 to $119,967/year (Placement on salary grid is based on QECO rating and teaching experience. Salary will be pro-rated based on the position FTE)

• Provide a current Criminal Background Check with vulnerable sector screening upon hire.
