We’re looking for a dedicated Support Assistant to join our Peripatetic Service at Sherwood Court, Wakefield. This vital service operates 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, delivering high-quality care to people in their own homes.
About the Role
The post is for 21.00 hours per week
You’ll work on a 2-week rolling Rota, including :
- Morning shifts : 07 : 00 – 14 : 00
- Salary £25, - £25, (FTE) £13.26 to £13.47 per hour.
- Weekends and bank holidays (enhanced pay rates apply)
Your role will include :
- Supporting individuals to remain in their own homes
- Promoting independence and person- centred care i.e. Washing / dressing / Bathing / Toileting / Meals & Medication
- Working collaboratively with professionals and agencies
- Treating every person with dignity and respect
To apply, you’ll need :
Essential :
- GCSE Grades D–G in Math’s and English or
- Functional Skills Level 1 in Math’s and English
Desirable (but not required) :
- Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
