Qualifications

• Medical terminology is essential.
• Word processing/typing skills (40 wpm).
• Previous experience with Meditech.

Responsibilities

• Clerical duties: entering pre/postoperative patient information, scheduling OR procedures, entering physician orders, filing, photocopying, ordering supplies, and home care requisitions.
• Reception duties: greeting visitors, patients and staff, directing calls to the appropriate person.
• Schedule post-surgical clinic appointments and complete special projects as requested.
