Job summary

Vancouver Coastal Health in Squamish, BC, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Operating Rooms Team at Squamish Hospital. You will deliver perioperative nursing care within an integrated surgical team, contributing to patient and family centred care and ensuring safety and quality in the OR.

The role requires current BCCNM registration, perioperative specialty or equivalent experience, and the ability to respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Current practicing RN with BCCNM registration.
• Perioperative nursing specialty or 2 years OR experience.
• Must meet BC healthcare requirements and governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing in the OR as part of the surgical team.
• Participate on hospital committees/teams and research projects as assigned.
• Maintain and advance clinical competence in a fast-paced OR environment.
• Demonstrate CPR and emergency response skills.
