Job summary

Thorncliffe Dental Centre in Toronto is seeking a qualified Periodontist to join our well-established practice on an in-house specialist basis. The role focuses on building and expanding an in-house periodontal program with a steady internal referral base.

The clinic benefits from a collaborative team, ongoing referrals from 6 active dentists, and a robust hygiene program to drive perio cases. Equipment includes Nobel Biocare implant kits and a surgical motor, enabling immediate onboarding.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited DDS/DMD Program or successful completion of the NDEB Equivalency Process.
• Registered and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements.
• Valid CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow an in-house periodontal program within the clinic.
• Provide high-quality periodontal care in a GP referral environment.
• Collaborate with the broader dental team to optimize patient outcomes.

About the Opportunity

Thorncliffe Dental Centre is seeking a qualified Periodontist to join our well-established Toronto practice on an in-house specialist basis. With over 40 years serving the community and a multi-generational patient base, this is a fantastic opportunity to build and grow a thriving in-house periodontal program with a consistent and reliable internal referral base.

With 6 active dentists generating consistent referrals and a robust hygiene program actively identifying perio cases, the demand is already there — we are looking for the right specialist to bring this service in-house and deliver exceptional care to our patients without the need for external referrals.

Schedule

• 1 day per month initially (Monday or Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Flexible scheduling with strong potential to grow based on demand

Who This Role Is Ideal For

About You:

• Registered and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements
