  • 3rd or 4th year student required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and leadership roles.
  • Proven problem solver with ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Collaborative approach and willingness to roll up sleeves.
  • Prior plant experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Understand various supply chain functions and disciplines.
  • Engage with peers and leadership to build relationships.
  • Assist in analysis and development of supply chain metrics and processes.
  • Report findings to team members and management.
  • Learn to manage production staff to achieve production and quality goals.
  • Assist in organizing and facilitating team meetings.
  • Organize and facilitate work team meetings (pre-shift, roundtables, etc.).

Responsibilities

Depending on the role that’s right for you, you can expect to:


  • Gain an understanding of various supply chain functions and disciplines

  • Receive opportunities to build affiliation with associate peers and interact with senior leadership

  • Assistin the analysis and development of supply chain metrics and business processes

  • Report findings to other team members and management asrequired

  • Learn to manage production staff toattainproduction and quality goals

  • Assistin organizing andfacilitatingteam meetings to achieve continuous process improvement

  • Organize andfacilitatework team meetings (examples: pre-shift, roundtables, etc.)


Qualifications


  • Currently pursuing a degree in Commerce, Engineering, Supply Chain, or similar program

  • You are currently a 3rd or 4th year student

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated commitment to working with and leading people

  • Proven problem solver and ability to manage competing priorities

  • Collaborative team-player with a “roll-up your sleeves” approach

  • A passion for and a demonstrated commitment to extra-curricular activities and/or community involvement

  • Previous experience working in a plant is an asset
