About the Role

Bree is looking for an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented People Operations Manager to support the continued expansion of our rapidly growing startup. Reporting directly to the Chief of Staff, you will be the core operator responsible for building and executing processes across People, Culture, Recruiting, and Business Operations.

This is a full-time, 5 days per week in-office role based at our office at Yonge/Bloor in Toronto.

What You'll Do
  • People & Culture: Own the seamless execution of the employee lifecycle, including administration of onboarding and offboarding. Help formalize and drive company culture initiatives, such as planning team activities.

  • Operational Excellence: Identify process gaps and assist the Chief of Staff in building scalable systems and documentation to drive internal efficiency and support the executive office.

  • Recruiting Operations: Support our hyper-growth by building efficient sourcing processes that attract the best talent, managing the recruiting pipeline, and coordinating all recruitment logistics.

  • Office & Administrative Support: Ensure the office runs smoothly and provide key administrative support to the executive team for tasks like calendar management and ad-hoc operational needs.

What You'll Need
  • Experience: Experience in an operations, people, or administrative role is preferred, bonus points if you've done so at a fast-paced startup.

  • Highly Organized: Exceptional organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail, capable of managing complex administrative needs and multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Process & Execution Focus: Demonstrated ability to execute processes reliably, identify inefficiencies, and proactively assist in implementing improvements.

  • Proactive Mindset: A solutions-oriented approach with the ability to anticipate needs and drive initiatives autonomously.

  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, strong emotional intelligence is a must.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with modern workplace tools (e.g., Slack, Google Workspace) and comfort working with data/metrics in spreadsheets.
