About the Role
Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, you will play a key role in delivering a broad range of HR functions while providing front‑line support to employees and leaders. This role combines technical HRMS expertise with hands‑on HR generalist responsibilities across the entire employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
1) Employee Support & Administration
- Serve as an additional point of contact for People & Culture inquiries, offering guidance and directing employees to resources.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
2) HR Systems & Technical Support
- Learn and support UKG (HRM system), becoming a go‑to resource for troubleshooting and user support.
- Configure workflows, forms, and system setups to optimize HR processes.
- Maintain data integrity, run reports, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
3) Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage full‑cycle recruitment for production positions, including job postings, screening, interviews, and hiring support.
- Attend job fairs and support recruitment initiatives.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of new hire documentation.
4) Documentation & Compliance
- Advise production supervisors on employment legislation and compliance requirements.
- Develop and maintain employee handbooks and workplace resources.
- Prepare employee documents such as contracts, letters, and reports.
5) Training & Development
- Deliver training sessions on HR policies, procedures, and legislation.
6) Offboarding & Engagement
- Conduct exit and stay interviews, prepare final documentation, and support offboarding processes.
- Contribute to engagement initiatives and special projects that foster a positive workplace culture.
7) Compensation
- Support front‑line production compensation processes.
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience
- CPHR designation required.
- Post‑secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Human Resource Generalist role.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRM systems.
- Ability to analyze HR data and generate meaningful reports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborative mindset and commitment to fostering a positive workplace.
- Proven ability to develop documentation and facilitate training sessions.
