Overview Job Skills / Requirements We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented People and Culture Professional to join our team and support the smooth operation of our day-to-day activities. This role is essential to maintaining efficiency across departments, ensuring accurate record-keeping, managing communication flows, and providing general support to staff and leadership. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of handling multiple priorities with discretion and professionalism. As a key point of contact within the organization, our P&C Coordinator plays a vital role in upholding our standards and contributing to a positive and productive workplace environment.

Job Duties
  • Coordinate new hire training sign-ups and track training attendance.
  • Oversee the onboarding process, guiding new hires through pre-employment, training, and deployment.
  • Update and maintain the candidate tracker to reflect current onboarding status.
  • Manage and maintain training laptops.
  • Compile data, statistics, and other information to support onboarding and retention KPIs.
  • Enter stand-down notices for new hires or employees with expired security licenses.
  • Submit JIRA tickets for uniform requests.
  • Conduct audits for training recertifications, security licenses, and status letters.
  • Maintain accurate compliance records for training, certifications, and performance reviews in WinTeam.
  • Enter compliance for 3-month and annual performance reviews, and upload completed performance review documents to FileBound.
  • Maintain employee files, ensuring all documents are uploaded accurately and promptly.
  • Manage digital employee files and update records for personnel changes.
  • Ensure payment requests for recertifications are communicated to the PRC.
  • Assist with leave of absence requests and follow-ups.
  • Assist employees with ERC (Employee Resource Centre) support.
  • Provide timely and productive responses to day-to-day employee inquiries.
  • Manage uniform processes, including issuing uniforms to new hires, coordinating exchanges and returns.
  • Oversee uniform inventory and ordering.
  • Provide administrative support to the People & Culture and Operations teams.
  • Partner with the P&C team on HR projects and process improvements.
  • Support event planning and fundraising initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Ability to multitask and accommodate short notice changes while working with interruptions.
  • Detail Oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Diploma in Business Management or Human Resource is an asset.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Human Resource.
  • Commitment to exceptional customer service and professionalism.
  • Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Employment Standards Legislation and Human Rights Legislation.
  • Authorized to legally work in Canada.
Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Human Resources Management considered an asset.
  • CPHR considered an asset.
