Job summary

ParaMed in Canada is seeking a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist/Therapist to provide community visits, assess and treat pediatric speech, language, fluency, voice and swallowing disorders in home or school settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Current registration with the provincial licensing body where applicable.
• Minimum 1 year speech language pathology experience, community health experience preferred.
• Technical knowledge of speech and swallowing disorders and related testing equipment.
• Ability to create patient-centered treatment plans within patients' lives.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech-language disorders including fluency, language, voice, and swallowing.
• Develop, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care across home or school settings.
