BC Children's Hospital in Vancouver, BC invites applications for a general pediatric ophthalmologist to join a distributed Department of Pediatric Ophthalmology with UBC. The successful candidate will have FRCSC in Ophthalmology and at least one year of pediatric subspecialty training, with expertise in pediatric and adult strabismus.

Additional expertise in anterior segment, glaucoma, and/or ocular genetics is an asset.

Qualifikationen

• FRCSC certification in Ophthalmology.
• At least one year of subspecialty training in pediatric ophthalmology.
• Expertise in treatment of pediatric and adult strabismus.
• Preference for expertise in pediatric cataract and glaucoma surgery, and/or ocular genetics.
• Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC.

Aufgaben

• Care of inpatients and outpatients at BC Children’s Hospital.
• Ophthalmic surgery and participation in an on‑call schedule.
• Participation in a health region‑based adult strabismus program.
• Teaching undergraduate students, residents, fellows, and orthoptic students.
