Job summary

A leading health-care organization in Winnipeg seeks an Oncology Nurse responsible for providing holistic cancer care. The successful candidate will assess, intervene, and coordinate care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Ideal qualifications include registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba and proficiency with technology. This position is term-based due to maternity leave, with an anticipated start as soon as possible.

Qualifications

  • Current registration must be completed within 6 weeks.
  • Required CPR training according to CCMB policy.
  • Proficiency in computer software is necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Provide holistic cancer care to patients.
  • Participate in patient/family education and assessments.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team.

Skills

Current registration with College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
Current certification in CPR
Knowledge of Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics
Proficient with computers and software
Legally able to work in Canada
