Job summary

Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) – Saskatoon and University of Saskatchewan, Department of Pediatrics, seek a full-time Pediatric Infectious Diseases specialist to deliver clinical and academic services. Inpatient and outpatient care at the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital with teaching responsibilities and potential niche focus areas.

The candidate will join a division with peers, collaborate with general pediatricians and subspecialists, and have an academic ranking based on experience.

Qualifications

• Certified or eligible for RCPSC certification in Pediatric Infectious Disease.
• Regular license with CPSS or eligibility to licensure in Saskatchewan.
• Additional training or interest in Immunology is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient pediatric infectious diseases services at JPCH.
• Engage in undergraduate, postgraduate, bedside and formal didactic teaching.
• Maintain academic affiliation with University of Saskatchewan; contribute to clinical and academic service delivery.
