Job summary

A regional healthcare authority is seeking a motivated Physician Assistant/Clinical Assistant for a Full-Time position in the Child Health Program at the Children's Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Applicants will perform a wide range of medical duties in various settings, including pediatric inpatient wards and outpatient clinics. Candidates must be eligible for licensure and should preferably have prior experience as a Physician Assistant or Clinical Assistant. This role includes a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba.
• Prior experience preferred.
• Must be a graduate of a Physician Assistant Educational Program acceptable to CPSM.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited Medical School in Canada or abroad.

Responsibilities

• Perform, order, and interpret diagnostic investigations.
• Attend clinical rounds and participate in educational rounds.
• Document all patient encounters in electronic medical records.
