Remuneration : Fee for service as per the Schedule of Medical Benefits (SoMB) in Alberta, estimate $2000-3500 per 7-hour day after overhead

About North Star Cardiology Clinic :
North Star Cardiology is a new clinic specializing in Fetal and Pediatric Cardiology. As a growing healthcare provider, we're dedicated to offering exceptional care and service. Our Medical Director is leading the charge to create a supportive, inclusive, and professional work environment. As a member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the patient's experience and will be at the heart of our rapidly growing team. With 3 exam rooms, 2 echo rooms, an assessment room, and counselling room, we have ~2500 visits per year and growing. Echocardiograms, ECGs, Holter monitors, and Kardias are available in clinic with access to further testing within the community and at the Stollery Children’s Hospital.
The pediatric cardiologist will provide general pediatric cardiology care for a broad scope of referrals and for patients with a wide range of conditions from infancy to young adulthood. Applicants with appropriate fetal cardiology training may participate in provision of fetal cardiology services from 12 weeks gestation onward. Outpatient cardiology services will be provided with no inpatient or on call services necessary.
Supervision of observers, medical students, and resident trainees may be required.
Candidates must be a team player, fostering a positive work environment through mutual respect and collaboration. They should be proficient at delivering high-quality, family-centred care to a diverse patient population in an outpatient setting.
