Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Manufacturing Assembler in Calgary to join a growing production team within a large engineering environment. The role is a 7-month contract, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day, with potential extension or conversion to full-time.

You will perform PCB and electronics assembly, soldering to IPC standards, and assist with electrical and mechanical testing. Documentation and quality checks will rely on Excel and internal systems, with strict ESD adherence and daily stand-ups.

Qualifications

• Hands-on soldering experience required.
• Experience with PCB/electronics assembly, not general electrical work.
• Understanding of ESD practices and IPC standards.
• Strong computer skills and ability to use documentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform PCB and electronics assembly with soldering to IPC standards.
• Support testing of electrical and mechanical components.
• Complete quality checks and document results in internal systems and Excel.
• Follow ESD protocols and safety procedures at all times.
• Participate in daily team stand-ups and communicate progress or blockers.
• Adapt to changing priorities, including soldering or testing tasks.
