Responsibilities
- Analyze collective bargaining agreements to implement, functional and technical requirements into Workforce, HR and Payroll systems to meet the company’s obligations.
- Liaise with leadership in Labour Relations, Store Operations and other stakeholders to communicate changes regarding collective agreements and the impacts to Payroll/HR/Workforce Management system(s) and processes.
- Submit Functional and Technical intakes for WFM HR Payroll systems configuration as it relates to Collective Agreements and some Provincial/Federal legislative changes to HRIS/WFM Systems (SAP, SuccessFactors, Kronos and Dayforce).
- Validate and sign off on test results from the HR Systems team to ensure results align with the collective bargaining agreement.
- Ensure retroactive payments and/or lump sums based on CBA agreements are executed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Develop process and functional documentation to ensure clear understanding of actions by all stakeholders once a CBA is ratified.
- Perform HR Data Audits to verify employee data adherence to CBA and Provincial/Federal legislation.
- Provide support to stakeholders (Site Admin, Labour Relations, Payroll, Total Rewards, Franchise Affiliate) when there is a changed ownership of a franchise location with a CBA.
Qualifications
- An Undergraduate Degree or College Diploma with significant involvement working with payroll systems.
- Familiarity with Payroll, HR Processes, Data and Reporting is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and multi-tasking skills; strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Knowledge of HRIS and/or Workforce Management Systems.
- Knowledge of SAP/SuccessFactors/Kronos/Dayforce systems.
- Bilingual in French and English (the candidate will work with peers in other provinces in the development and implementation of tools and processes across Canada, and provide support to Sobeys employees across Canada).
