Randstad Canada is currently seeking experienced Payroll Clerks for full-time permanent positions.

As the Payroll Clerk, your primary responsibility will be the timely and accurate processing of the company's payroll. You will be the trusted expert ensuring that every employee is paid correctly, on time, every time. This involves managing timekeeping data, calculating statutory deductions, processing remittances, and handling all employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality

Responsibilities
  • Process full-cycle payroll (e.g., weekly, bi-weekly) for all salaried and hourly employees accurately and on schedule
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, and deductions
  • Calculate and process all statutory deductions, including CPP, EI, and income tax, as well as benefits
  • Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposit statements
  • Maintain employee personal information as it relates to payroll
Qualifications
  • High-school diploma. Degree or diploma in accounting
  • PCP certification strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of dedicated, hands‑on experience in full-cycle payroll processing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office application and payroll software (ADP, QuickBooks, Payworks or similar)
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have demonstrable experience with Accounting Clerk skills, including AP, AR, and reconciliations.
