A specialized vehicles company in Newmarket, Ontario, is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Administrator to manage the full payroll cycle and employee benefits administration, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy. Candidates must have a Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in Workday and ADP payroll systems. Location: Multimatic Niche Vehicles NA, Newmarket, Ontario, Canada

Position Overview

Located in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada, Multimatic Niche Vehicles North America (MNVNA) is the exclusive production facility of the Ford Mustang GTD. Multimatic Niche Vehicles North America (MNVNA) is looking for a Payroll & Benefits Administrator that will be responsible for the complete payroll cycle along with the administration of employee benefits while maintaining confidentiality and accurate payroll records. This position is on-site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for full-cycle administration of payroll using ADP system; new hire set up, termination, data update etc.
  • Responsible for Transmit payroll to ADP
  • Responsible for Review and distributing payroll
  • Maintain employee expenses for payroll submission
  • Special off-cycle payments
  • Responsible for Exception reports
  • Responsible for Exception report changes
  • Responsible for Billing safety shoes
  • Responsible for Maintain Personnel payroll records in AE & Workday
  • Responsible for Preparing record of employment
  • Responsible for Preparing vacation pay
  • Responsible for T4 for CRA
  • Responsible for Review Vacation requests
  • Responsible for Maintain/update deductions for employee life insurance
  • Responsible for Maintain/update deductions for employee long term disability
  • Perform reconciliation of payroll deduction vs LTD / Life Insurance Billing
  • Responsible for Maintaining and administering Benefit program
  • Responsible for Sunlife & RBC monthly billing, and bill payments
  • Responsible for Benefits enrollment administration after 3-month probation
  • Responsible for RRSP enrollment administration after 3-month probation
  • Responsible for waiver of premiums
  • Responsible for Reporting bi-weekly earnings and RRSP contributions to head office
  • Responsible for Monthly overtime records
  • Responsible for Government of Canada Source deductions
  • Responsible for Government of Canada Stats-Can Reports
  • Responsible for Government of Canada Hiring Reports
  • Responsible for monthly WSIB remittance, and earnings reporting
  • Responsible for Ontario Employer health tax remittance
  • Responsible for monthly remittance for garnishment etc…
  • Responsible for annual WSIB and EHT annual reconciliation
  • Address stakeholders’ queries i.e. Service Canada, CRA, WSIB etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Basic Requirements
  • Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration for organizations with 500+ employees
  • Proficient in Workday, ADP payroll and HRIS systems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse teams and stakeholders across all organizational levels
  • Highly organized and skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and collaborating with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
