Lightspeed Payments is a critical growth driver for our business, powering accelerated investment into our platform globally. To support this momentum, we are opening a new expansion role within our Payments GTM Strategy & Operations team.

As a Payments GTM Strategy & Operations Analyst, you won’t just report on the business—you will help shape its future. Working directly with leadership, you will dig into root causes, uncover patterns, and transform complex data into the clear, actionable recommendations that steer our global strategy. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-growth environment where your insights will directly influence decision-making and fuel our continued expansion.

What you'll be doing:
  • Lead high-priority strategic initiatives, such as modeling new market expansion opportunities, evaluating pricing structures, or re-engineering key operational processes.
  • Conduct deep research to support benchmarkings, competitive analysis, and strategic revisions.
  • Translate data and insights into clear and concise strategic recommendations and options to leadership.
  • Support the execution of cross-functional initiatives and key projects, ensuring alignment with broader company priorities.
  • Gather business requirements and translate business objectives into structured, quantitative solutions.
  • Track and communicate progress on key projects using dashboards, status reports, and stakeholder updates.
  • Synthesize findings and extract key messages for core stakeholders, creating concise presentations for C-suite consumption.
What you need to bring:
  • 3+ years of experience in a strategy, operations, or analyst role.
  • Strong business acumen; able to translate business needs into data requirements.
  • Experience using data, insights, and financial outcomes to clearly articulate results.
  • Proven ability to conduct deep research (benchmarking, competitive analysis) and inform strategic decisions.
  • Proven track record of driving cross-functional initiatives to completion, leveraging excellent communication skills to align diverse stakeholders across IT, GTM Ops, Sales, and Marketing.

We know that people are more than what’s on their CV. If you’re unsure that you have the right profile for the role... hit the ‘Apply’ button and let’s have a chat!

What’s in it for you?
  • Lots of autonomy, flexible work culture and the option of fully remote work
  • Genuine career opportunities in a company that’s creating new jobs everyday
  • Opportunity to make a difference; help merchants grow their businesses and become more successful by creating or improving products and addressing customer feedback
  • Work in a team big enough for growth but lean enough to make a real impact
  • Development of very high traffic products, used at the global scale
  • Opportunities to learn and expand your skill set
  • Become a valued part of the diverse and inclusive Lightspeed family

… and enjoy a range of benefits that’ll keep you happy, healthy and (not) hungry:

  • Lightspeed equity scheme (we are all owners)
  • Flexible paid time off policy
  • Health insurance
  • Health and wellness benefit of $500 per year
  • Paid leave and assistance for new parents
  • Mental health online platform and counseling & coaching services
