Patient Watch Officers provide supportive, continuous observation for patients who require extra monitoring to ensure their safety and well‑being. This role is ideal for individuals who are calm, attentive, professional, and comfortable working in a healthcare environment.
You will work closely with hospital staff and help maintain a safe, respectful, and patient‑focused atmosphere.
This posting is specifically for the Red Deer Hub, which primarily covers:
Your priority will be to work within the Red Deer Hub, and we will make every effort to schedule you in this area. However, depending on operational needs, you may occasionally be deployed to other locations across the Central Zone. Flexibility is an important part of this role.
While hub assignments determine where you work most frequently, PW Officers may be assigned anywhere in the Central Zone when required.
Candidates should ideally live in or near Red Deer or within a reasonable distance for reliable response times. If you’re unsure whether your location is suitable, we can confirm with management.
