- Payrate: $18.35/hour
- Overtime Method: Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours

Job Responsibilities
- Complete mandatory onboarding and ongoing training
- Patrol interior and exterior of site (all weather conditions)
- Monitor patients, provide customer service, and support clients
- Remain calm and de‑escalate conflicts/emergencies (verbal/physical intervention if required)
- Enforce site, client, and by‑law rules (parking, smoking, policies)
- Respond to and investigate incidents; write detailed reports
- Maintain access control, key control, and safety inspections
- Work independently and in a team; sit/stand up to 12 hours per shift
- Pass N95 mask fit test (must be clean shaven)
- Bilingualism (English/French) and 6+ months customer service experience considered assets
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Valid Ontario Security License
- Valid First Aid/CPR – Level C from WSIB‑approved source
- Minimum 6 months security experience
- Proof of minimum 2 doses COVID‑19 vaccinations
- A copy of your immunization records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella [MMR], Varicella, Pertussis, and TB skin tests – Step 1 & 2)

- KHSC Immunization Forms
- Completed immunization for MMR‑V at the time of hire is required. Applicants not immunized or unable to provide MMR‑V immunity will not be deemed eligible for the position.
- Ability to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check (during onboarding)
- Must be able to provide certifications in Stay Safe
- Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin’s Stay Safe certification program prior to onboarding to meet requirements.
- Please be aware: The Stay Safe certification is not paid; Paladin will cover all costs with a 6‑month commitment to the position/availability.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Eligible for a sign‑on bonus of $250.00
Certification Requirements (All)
- Valid Certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED
- Valid Ontario Security License
