PSP Manager (18-month contract)

Greater Toronto Area, ON

Introduction

We are hiring a PSP Manager for our client, Eli Lilly, based in the Greater Toronto Area. Lilly has identified Patient Support Programs ("PSPs") as a core capability essential for successful product launches. Reporting to the Associate Director - Patient Support Programs, the PSP Manager will develop strategies and oversee operational implementation for one or more PSPs, including support for the Cardiometabolic Health portfolio. As a member of Lilly's PSP team, the successful candidate will provide consultation and support across brands and business units. This role requires close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including HCPs, vendors, and cross-functional teams (Marketing, Medical, Market Access, Government Affairs, Legal, Ethics & Compliance, Patient Safety, Privacy, IT, Finance). The position is an 18-month renewable contract, with an expected on-site presence of 4-12 days per month in Toronto, and up to 10% travel across the geography.

Responsibilities
  1. PSP Strategy Development & Program Design:
    Collaborate with brand teams to identify patient needs and customer expectations, conduct competitive landscape assessments, and co-develop overarching PSP strategies aligned with global design principles and local leadership. Bring expertise in Canadian-specific PSP design and implementation. Lead cross-functional teams to define program details, ensure governance approval, and allocate necessary resources.
  2. Existing PSP Monitoring & Oversight:
    Ensure quality and continuous improvement of existing PSPs. Act as liaison with PSP vendors to manage patient interactions and resolve issues promptly. Monitor program performance through KPIs, customer surveys, and feedback, and adjust strategies accordingly. Ensure compliance with Lilly standards and manage budgeting and financial tracking.
  3. Key Member of PSP Team:
    Participate in PSP team activities, governance reviews, and quarterly assessments. Share learnings to enhance PSP capabilities and ensure delivery of high-quality programs across all brands.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of Patient Support Program management experience in the pharmaceutical industry or 5+ years in relevant fields such as market access, brand management, or operations.
  • Knowledge of reimbursement policies in private and public sectors is preferred.
  • Strong budget management, data analysis, and reporting skills.
  • Experience with CRM platforms and program performance monitoring.
  • University Degree; MBA preferred.
  • Extensive project management experience, with ability to handle complex projects and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
  • Customer-facing experience with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and external vendors effectively.
  • Bilingual in English and French is an asset.
