Job summary

FYidoctors Penticton - Skaha Lake clinic is seeking a Patient Services Specialist to deliver exceptional service to patients in person, by phone, and via email. You will greet patients, support pre-testing, coordinate appointments, handle billing, and assist with eyewear pickups and minor repairs.

This full-time role offers 30-40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a competitive hourly wage and comprehensive benefits. You will join a collaborative team focused on patient care and growth.

Our FYidoctors Penticton - Skaha Lake clinic is looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience and join us as a Patient Services Specialist to fill an existing vacancy!

In this role, you’ll deliver exceptional service and support, enhancing the lives of our patients in a dynamic, and rewarding environment that values teamwork and collaboration.

This position is a full-time role working 30-40 hours per week. Our clinic is open Monday to Friday.

What You’ll Do

• Greet and welcome patients to the clinic, manage patient check-in and check-out and engage with patients in person, by phone, and via email
• Perform pre-testing to support comprehensive eye care
• Coordinate appointments, prepare prescription printouts, and manage billing and payments
• Manage eyewear pick-ups and perform minor repairs and adjustments on eyewear
• Deliver exceptional customer service ensuring a positive patient experience
• Support clinic operations by performing additional duties as required

What You Bring

• Previous retail experience is considered an asset
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for connecting with patients and delivering exceptional patient experiences
• A collaborative, adaptable, and proactive team player with a growth mindset, able to manage changing priorities effectively
