Job summary

Vancouver Island Health Authority (VIHA) is seeking a Casual Nursing Assistant to support patient-centered care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to enhance safety and quality, providing essential support to patients and staff.

The role requires Grade 10 and graduation from a recognized Nursing Assistant Program, with registration in the BC Care Aide registry.

Qualifications

• Grade 10 plus graduation from a recognized Nursing Assistant Program such as a Health Aide program or equivalent.
• Registered with the BC Care Aide registry.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Deal with others effectively.
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
