Patient Service Associate , Admissions Office

We are looking for self-motivated candidates whose priority is to our patients’ experience. You will be supporting the Admitting Services department in assisting the patient and/or their loved ones in the admission process. Our services are provided through various channels – in person over-the-counter and at patient’s bedside, through phone, email and live chat. You will also have the opportunity to participate in service improvement projects and system implementations ranging from unit to national level.

Responsibilities
  • Registering and verifying patient information, explain the estimated charges and claims to allow the patient to select the appropriate ward type, and collect deposit payment.
  • Coordinating the admission process from pre-admission screening to patient arriving at the assigned ward through collaborating with doctors, inpatient wards, Specialist Outpatient Clinics, Bed Management, Business Office.
  • Providing administrative support at day surgery centres, such as tracing surgery consent forms, posting charges for billing, scheduling follow-up appointments.
  • Handling general and way finding enquiries from patients and visitors
Qualifications
  • NITEC/Diploma in any discipline
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Able to perform 2 shifts, 5 days work week (earliest shift starts at 6:30AM with transport allowance)
