A leading healthcare institution in Nova Scotia is seeking a Patient Service Associate for the Admissions Office. The role focuses on supporting patients through the admission process via various channels, coordinating admissions, and providing administrative support. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, a NITEC/Diploma, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. This position requires self-motivation and the ability to work in shifts.
We are looking for self-motivated candidates whose priority is to our patients’ experience. You will be supporting the Admitting Services department in assisting the patient and/or their loved ones in the admission process. Our services are provided through various channels – in person over-the-counter and at patient’s bedside, through phone, email and live chat. You will also have the opportunity to participate in service improvement projects and system implementations ranging from unit to national level.
