Job description

We are currently looking for a hard working and dedicated Patient Porter to fill a Casual position at the Prince Rupert Regional Hospital.

In accordance with established vision and values of the organization, assists and transports patients including deceased patients, their personal belongings, equipment, specimens and supplies to and from various locations within the hospital in accordance with hospital and Northern Health policies and procedures. Reports to professional staff patient observations and interactions, as appropriate. Performs clerical, cleaning and tidying duties.

Prince Rupert Regional Hospital is a 30-bed facility that sees an average of 22,000 ER visits per year. It is a fully equipped facility with medical imaging, laboratory, ICU, ER and maternity. Services include:
