Job summary

Southern Health-Santé Sud is seeking a Dietary Aide (Cook 1/2) at Bethesda Regional Health Centre in Steinbach. The role covers safe preparation, serving and distribution of meals to clients, staff and visitors, with cashier duties and strict sanitation practices.

The incumbent will follow policies, and work a schedule including days, evenings and weekends. A Dietary Aide certificate and Food Handler Training are required, with bilingual capacity being an asset in English and French designated

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 10 education.
• Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office applications, Outlook/email and online training.
• Completion of a Dietary Aide certificate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, serve and distribute nutritious meals to clients and staff.
• Perform cashier duties and follow sanitation safety guidelines.
• Follow established department policies and regulations and government legislation.
• Exercise initiative to determine work priorities and methods.
