Walmart in Yellowknife, NT, Canada is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to assist the Pharmacy Manager in all aspects of pharmacy operations. You will provide patient care based on consultations and file reviews, counsel patients, and ensure accurate, safe dispensing according to SOPs.

You will maintain privacy, open during business hours, and support the business plan with the Pharmacy Manager. The position offers an hourly wage in the local market range.

Qualifications

• Active pharmacist license in Canada.
• Experience handling prescriptions and refills.
• Ability to counsel patients on medications.
• Commitment to patient privacy and regulatory compliance.

Responsabilités

• Ensure excellent patient experience and locate merchandise on the sales floor.
• Establish and develop relationships with Professional Services District Manager and stakeholders.
• Accept prescriptions and/or refill requests from Customers, Doctors or Hospitals.
• Ensure prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently, and safely using established workflows and counsel patients.
• Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products.
• Execute processes per Walmart's SOPs.
• Operate pharmacy equipment and protect patient privacy; comply with provincial regulations.
• Provide eligible services (medication reviews, injections) as required and ensure pharmacy is open during posted hours.
