AS A PATIENT CARE ASSISTANT, you will work directly under the radiologic technologist. The tech assistant may be assigned to work in a variety of imaging modalities. Vital roles include facilitating patient flow by coordinating work assignments, transporting patients to and from designated exam areas while ensuring their comfort and safety, communicating effectively with patients, families, and all care providers, assisting with room setup, cleaning, and disinfecting, and performing other duties as assigned to contribute to the overall efficient and effectiveness of the radiology team.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • CPR certification required upon hire or obtained within 3 months of start date
  • Health related education or certification preferred
