Job summary

Summit Motors in Medicine Hat, AB is hiring a Parts Driver on a full-time, 3-month contract that could lead to permanent employment. No prior parts experience is required; we will train the right person and help you grow within the Parts Department.

You’ll pick up and deliver parts in the Medicine Hat area, assist with receiving and inventory, and support a friendly team. The role involves some heavy lifting and 8-hour shifts, with opportunities to advance toward a Parts Technician role.

Qualifications

• Entry-level opportunity with room to advance.
• Must be able to lift items up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Pickup and deliver parts throughout Medicine Hat and surrounding area.
• Receive, sort, and organize incoming freight.
• Maintain an accurate and organized inventory for parts.
• Plan and prioritize deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Assist the Parts team as needed.

What You’ll Do

• As our Parts Driver, you'll help keep our customers and Parts Department moving by:
• Picking up and delivering parts throughout Medicine Hat and the surrounding area
• Receiving, sorting, and organizing incoming freight
• Helping the Parts Department maintain an accurate and organized inventory
• Planning and prioritizing deliveries safely and efficiently
• Lending a hand to the Parts team wherever needed

Some heavy lifting is required, including items weighing more than 75 lbs.
