Partner Business Manager

Reporting to the Sr Director, Dealer and Partner Channel, the Partner Business Manager (PBM) will be a key contributor to delivering results in both the Dealer and Partner channels. Working closely with Dealers, Channel Partners, other PBMs and channel stakeholders, the role will be responsible to provide sales and program leadership that delivers Wireline and Wireless revenue growth in the channels across the small, medium and commercial customer segments.

What you'll be Doing:
  • Lead key channel sales programs including but not limited to Dealer base management standards, top opportunity reviews, sales funnel health and forecasting.
  • Serve as channel prime on key customer opportunities, programs and projects that deliver revenue growth.
  • Identify points of friction in the Dealer and Partner channels and seek out remedies. Champion programs that improve channel execution and sales performance.
  • Build strong relationships with Dealers and Partners, and network cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales Enablement, Product and other stakeholder groups to deliver channel-ready programs.
  • Actively contribute to team meetings, workshops, and other planning and collaboration forums. Contribute to forecasting and planning discussions.
  • Provide ad hoc support on channel compensation programs.
  • Leverage BI reports and Salesforce dashboards to provide performance insight that adds value and focus to weekly team meetings.
What you will Bring:
  • 5+ years of experience in channel sales, management or support roles. Indirect channel history preferred. Must be comfortable in a commissioned sales role.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, soliciting collaboration from peers and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience presenting to large audiences and facilitating meetings is an asset.
  • A general understanding of the revenues and costs in the industry, and how Rogers and channel partners achieve mutual profitability.
  • Experience using BI reports and other data sources to identify actionable opportunities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel.
  • Understanding of relevant industry technologies and trends (wireless and wireline product knowledge an asset).
  • Post-secondary education in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work independently to achieve goals and meet deadlines.
