Job summary

Red Dear Polytechnic invites applications for a Part-time instructor to teach KPAC 1255C - Yoga for Beginners in the Kinesiology and Sports Studies Program, commencing December 16, 2026. The Winter term runs 12/16/2026–04/30/2027, with classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30pm to 1:50pm, delivered in person or online as appropriate.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Kinesiology, Physical Education, or Recreation; yoga teacher training is an asset; and strong communication and

• Master's degree in Kinesiology, Physical Education, or Recreation.
• Yoga teacher training is considered an asset.
• Excellent communication, public relations and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a variety of team environments.

Responsibilities

• Teaching students in classroom and/or lab settings with flexibility for both face to face and online course delivery.
• Creating a stimulating, effective, and learner-centered environment.
• Preparing, reviewing and/or updating course material. Marking, grading, and evaluation of student work.
• Providing ongoing feedback, guidance, and assistance to students.
• Upholding the Professional Responsibilities of Faculty at RDP which are described within the Faculty Performance Policy.
• Demonstrating and promoting RDP organizational values and following Policies and practices.
