Job summary

Buckerfield's Saanich is seeking a part-time Warehouse Operator to join our team. Starting rate is $19.00–$20.00 per hour with weekend availability required, in a fast-paced environment.

You'll handle receiving, unloading, warehousing, and merchandise handling, with training to obtain a Forklift Operator Certificate and opportunities for advancement. The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with overtime and statutory holiday considerations.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• A great attitude and willingness to learn.
• Able to perform manual labour tasks and lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Previous warehouse experience is an asset; forklift experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Efficient receiving, unloading, warehousing, and handling of merchandise.
• Maintain a valid Forklift Operator Certificate which may be obtained with on-the-job training.
• Other duties assigned by the Store Manager.
