Job summary

Toronto Top Academy is hiring in-person, one-on-one tutors for the Dundas St W & Royal York Rd area in Etobicoke. This is not remote; tutors must travel to the specified location regularly.

Ideal candidates are undergraduates or graduates with tutoring experience for elementary to high school, strong subject knowledge, and reliable transportation. A commitment for at least one academic term (5–6 months) and willingness to obtain a police background check are required.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or completed an undergraduate degree.
• Prior tutoring experience with elementary and/or high school students.
• Strong academic background in subjects taught.
• Willingness to obtain a police background check.
• Ability to commit consistently for at least one academic term (5-6 months).
• Reliable transportation to travel to Etobicoke (Dundas St W & Royal York Rd area).

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured, one-on-one tutoring sessions
• Adapt instruction to individual student needs
• Support curriculum-based learning (Ontario curriculum)
