Position Overview

We’re seeking a dedicated professional who will play a critical role in providing project specific administrative support for Transfer Services team, reporting to the Manager, Transfer and Applicant Services. If you are passionate about the transfer pathways student advising, database and systems support, business/marketing reporting and documentation and thrive in a collaborative inclusive environment, then this role is for you.

Hourly pay range: $17.20 – 23.95 per hour
Georgian College has introduced FLEX Work for some positions. This position is currently eligible for Hybrid Work. FLEX Work agreements will be determined between the employee and manager when employment commences and may change in accordance with the FLEX Work guidelines. All employees are required to permanently reside in the province of Ontario.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responds and provides information and advice to transfer students around course equivalency and pathways options and how to navigate our transfer pathways systems.
  • Data entry and uploading of course equivalency and pathway information and documents into databases.
  • Creating, generating, monitoring, and maintaining project transfer pathways information and data analytics/reports.
  • Administrative support such as business documentation, reports, project mapping, surveys, training and marketing materials, minutes.
Qualifications
  • Successful completion of a 2-year post secondary diploma in a field of study of Office Administration, Business, or Marketing.
  • At least 2-years experience in a busy office environment.
  • Experience in project mapping, surveys, creating marketing materials and minute-taking.
  • Advanced skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills to answer inquiries and draft documents.
  • Organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask to provide day-to-day support.
