Part Time Temporary Educational Assistant

Holy Spirit Catholic School is a Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 9 School

Holy Spirit Catholic School in Devon, AB is currently seeking a Part Time (0.4 FTE) Temporary Educational Assistant to assist students in Pre-Kindergarten with diverse academic and social/emotional needs.

The assignment is to begin September 1, 2026 and end June 30, 2027 of the 2026-2027 school year.

Salary range $20.14 - $28.46 as per Support Terms and Conditions of Employment.

Preference Given to Candidates with the Following Qualifications:

• Experience utilizing strength-based, trauma informed practices
• Experience working with students with diverse needs
• Able to effectively deal with crisis situation; physically able to lift and/or protect
• Supporting Individuals through Valued Attachments training
• Mental Health First Aid or equivalent
• Diploma in child/youth care, Educational Assistant Certificate and experience with Speech/Language Assistance are assets
