Moores the Suit People Corp. is seeking a part-time Retail Store Tailor—Alterations at 183 Silvercreek Parkway North, Guelph. The role focuses on garment alterations, measurements, fittings, and repairs with a strong emphasis on quality and customer satisfaction.

You’ll work with a team to deliver precise alterations, guide customers on fit options, and maintain a clean, productive workspace while supporting inventory and store operations.

Qualifications

• Proficient in standard alterations such as hems, waist and seat adjustments, rise and tapering modifications.
• Ability to ensure high-quality finishes with clean stitches and pressed garments.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and garment fitting.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently perform alterations including hems, waist/seat, sleeves, seams and collar adjustments.
• Maintain productive output while delivering consistent, well-finished garments.
• Assist customers with fittings and alterations guidance to ensure perfect fit.
• Support inventory and keep the tailor area organized and safe.
