A leading Christian university in Langley, British Columbia, is seeking a Part-Time Instructor for laboratory instruction in chemistry. Candidates must hold a BSc in Chemistry and preferably have teaching experience. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate lab courses and supervising teaching assistants. The position is part-time and available from August 15, 2023, to April 30, 2024, with a compensation of $5,720 per 3 credit course.
The Department of Chemistry in the Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences (FNAS) at Trinity Western University invites applications for a fixed one-year term as a Part-Time Instructor focusing on laboratory instruction and supervision starting August 15, 2023 and ending April 30, 2024. Candidates with teaching experience are preferred but at a minimum must have a BSc in chemistry in order to apply. The position requires the individual to teach and evaluate general, organic, or advanced chemistry (i.e. inorganic and organic) lab experience for undergraduate students. Supervision of teaching assistants for general and organic chemistry is also required. This is a part-time position but your availability must be during the currently scheduled lab sections.
