Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Surveillance Security Guard for a part-time shift at our distribution center. You will monitor security systems, respond to incidents, and document events while maintaining high vigilance and attention to detail.

The position requires valid Ontario security license, WSIB First Aid/CPR Level C, and the ability to stand and walk during shifts. Uniforms are provided as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure safety.
• Control access to secure areas and check visitor IDs.
• Analyze security systems for vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement in emergencies.

As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they expand in environments such as security operation centres , call centers, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc.

Responsibilities for Surveillance Security Guard

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and checkvisitoridentification
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
