Job summary

Encore is seeking a part-time Sales & Merchandising Representative to cover Maple Leaf Foods outlets in Toronto/Etobicoke. You will be the product expert, executing brand priorities and maximizing shelf presence, with approximately 23 hours per week and an hourly rate of $22.00–$23.00 plus KM reimbursement.

You will drive sales by building displays, managing shelf plan-o-grams, and replenishing stock, while establishing relationships with store contacts.

Qualifications

• Part-time, long-term role with about 23 hours weekly.
• Experience in grocery/retail sales or strong transferable skills.
• Must have a reliable vehicle and ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

The Opportunity:

PART-TIME SALES & MERCHANDISING REPRESENTATIVE FOR MAPLE LEAF FOODS - APPROX. 23 HRS/WEEKLY- TORONTO/ETOBICOKE

HOURLY RATE: $22.00-$23.00 + KM REIMBURSEMENT

Position Summary:

Our client is Maple Leaf Foods. Your role is to be the product expert! Through your higher-performer personality, you will ensure that the brands you represent are executed at the highest level at the outlets you cover. In order to do this you will need to deliver on-the-call coverage objectives, increase distribution & visibility of the products, execute brand priorities and build relationships with key store contacts, said differently:

What You Will Be Doing Every Day:

• Drive Sales: Selling and building displays, placing point-of-sale material, Plan-o-Gram compliance
• Merchandising: Main Shelf, Displays & Stock Replenishment
• Support new product launches
• Check and correct distribution voids/out-of-stocks
• Build relationships (customer service) with key store personnel - this is an important component of the role!
• Call Coverage: You will have a set # of retail calls to achieve every day
• Product quality control
• Gathering & reporting on field insights using an iPad

Your Experience:

You have previous sales and/or merchandising experience, preferably in the grocery/retail channel. If not in the grocery/retail channel, don’t worry, as long as you share the same values, we can teach you all you need to know once you’re on board.
