With over 50 retail stores across the country, Urban Barn is a national retail chain offering high-quality furniture and home décor. We’re passionate about making our customers and our employees feel right at home. Here, you will enrich the customer experience while growing your experience with a well-known Canadian retailer.

Responsibilities
  • Accompany and guide customers to find inspiring furniture and home décor during their visit to our store. As a Sales Associate, you will represent Urban Barn by offering friendly service and product knowledge to help our customers create a space they love to call home. In collaborating with the store team and managers, you will provide our customers with the best shopping experience possible.
  • Provide a warm greeting to every customer
  • Establish connections with customers to build customer loyalty
  • Carry out transactions (purchases, exchanges, and returns)
  • Maintain the visual standards and cleanliness of the store
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of Retail Sales experience
  • A passion for interior décor and merchandising
  • Ease of using technology such as a Point-of-Sale system and iPad
  • Flexible schedule to work a minimum of 3 days (12-20 hours) per week – including at least 1 weekend and 1 weekday daytime shift
  • The ability to lift and move loads up to 50 lbs / 23 kg
