The Beer Store is hiring Part-Time Retail Staff in Pembroke, Ontario. You’ll stock shelves, assist customers, and process transactions in a fast-paced retail environment.

We value reliability, physical stamina, and a friendly attitude. This unionized role requires weekend shifts and adherence to safety guidelines; wage starts at $18.30 per hour under our collective agreement.

Formación

• Completion of High School or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum 1 year of consecutive retail experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs (18kg) and stand for 2+ hours.
• Must be available to work weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Stock shelves and unload deliveries.
• Serve customers daily and process payments.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and use PPE.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

The Role

We currently have vacancies for Part-Time Retail Staff for our Pembroke, Ontario store. We are looking for employees who are energetic, enthusiastic and share our passion and commitment to satisfying our customers.

Location

A Retail Location in Pembroke, ON.

What You'll Be Doing

• Stocking shelves, unloading delivery trucks, maintaining store cleanliness
• In this unionized role, you will be required to serve customers daily and process payment transactions
• You are expected to follow all health and safety procedures and must use all PPE provided
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Education

• Completion of High School and/or GED equivalent preferred

Experience

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have minimum 1 year's consecutive retail experience

Skills

• Must be able to comfortably lift up to 40lbs (over 18kg) for more then 100 ft (30 metres) for continuous periods of time
• Must be able to stand on your feet for 2 or more hours during a shift
• Able to perform basic computer functions
• Must be available to work weekends

Compensation

Wages starting at $18.30 and subject to wage increases based on hours worked according to the terms outlined in the Collective Agreement.
