Merchandising Consultants Associates in Sydney, NS is seeking a part-time, on-site Merchandiser to support retail displays and brand standards. You will set up displays, stock products, and ensure visibility, with typical hours 5–10 per week.

The role requires reliable, physically capable individuals with planogram reading ability, a valid driver’s license, and comfort using smartphone imaging apps to capture reports.

Qualifications

• Proven merchandising and retail sales experience in a grocery, drug store or big box setting is preferred.
• Able to lift, bend and stand for extended periods of time.
• A valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle is essential.
• Is reliable and takes pride in their work.
• Can read and execute planograms.
• Possesses strong knowledge of smartphone technology, including taking photos and utilizing imaging apps.
• Has a self-starter mindset, thriving under the pressure and ambiguity of the dynamic Merchandiser role.
• Shows enthusiasm and maintains a consistently professional attitude and appearance.

Responsibilities

• Setting up attractive product displays and arrange products following detailed planograms, ensuring product visibility and brand representation are optimized.
• Building, modifying, and dismantling product displays while strictly adhering to the client’s quality and branding standards.
• Ensuring that the clients' products are well-stocked, properly arranged, and ready for customer purchase.
• Installing eye-catching signage and performing additional merchandising services as required by the Company’s clients.
• To keep all stakeholders informed by completing online reports, uploading photos, and providing regular updates.
• Forming and maintain strong, influential relationships with clients, acting as a key representative for the Company and building trust to foster long-term partnerships.
• Utilizing advanced image recognition apps and scanning technology to collect valuable retail data.

Wage: $17.00 per hour
Hours: Approximately 5-10 hours per week
Schedule: Typically, Monday through Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm, but offers flexibility
