Job summary

Bethany Care Society in Airdrie, Alberta is hiring a part-time Registered Nurse to join its medical team. The RN is accountable for providing outstanding care and support to residents, resident families, team members and volunteers to the full scope of professional nursing practice.

Applicants must graduate from an accredited nursing program with a BSN, hold active CARNA registration and CPR, and be able to work in a physically demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Nursing School with a Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) degree.
• Active registration with CARNA in good standing.
• Able to work effectively in a physically demanding environment.
• Demonstrates ability to understand, speak, read and write effectively in English.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of RAI/MDS 2.0 tool is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resident-centered care in accordance with care plans and policies.
• Document resident assessments, interventions and outcomes.
• Maintain safety by following guidelines at all times.
• Demonstrate a proactive learner aligned with Bethany's mission.
• Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to ensure resident-centered care.
• Lead, develop and coach staff to achieve high performance.
